First Class Travel on the Trans Siberian Railway

When people think of travelling on the Trans Siberian Railway, an enormous rail system connecting Russia to the Far East, they often think of people being crammed into uncomfortable looking bunk beds in carriages that are crammed with people. Whilst there is certainly an argument to travel on the Trans Siberian in this nature to experience it, there is also the alternative option, which is to travel in the more luxurious section of the train.

When enjoying the miles of fantastic scenery along the Trans Siberian Railway, the comfort of being able to do so from your own carriage away from noisy co passengers is surely the best way to do so. These carriages contain comfortable beds, as opposed to small bunk beds in the standard class carriages, and plenty of room to move around. They are well kept which ensures that they are always clean and tidy, whilst the comfortable seating provides the ideal perch from which to enjoy the scenery. The rooms also have televisions and some have their own on suite bathrooms, although others share communal bathrooms with people staying in the same class, although these are also to a high standard.

One of the best aspects of travelling in the first class carriages on the Trans Siberian Railway is that you get to experience the high quality cooking of the on board chefs who create local specialities using fresh ingredients. More luxury rail journeys around the world.
